This fall I'm finishing and submitting articles about Cecily Neville's aspirational influence in her Household Ordinances; teaching Middle English romances with graphic novels; Queen Katherine Parr's appropriation of Late Medieval devotional literary practices in her Lamentation of a Sinner; and an examination of The Awntyrs off Arthure at Terne Wathlyne as a localized purgatorial exemplum tale. I am also developing a book project that focuses on how Margaret Beaufort used literary culture and life writing to amplify and cement Tudor political authority, with a planned submitted proposal in Fall 2020. I have an additional project in the planning stages that examines textual intention in medieval and contemporary manuscript, print, and digital works created by economically privileged women.

I will be delivering a professional writing presentation for the Master's of Accounting Program at the University of Georgia, to be presented in September, 2019, and giving my paper, "Graphic Romance: Teaching Medieval Romance Through Graphic Novels and Comics," at the Southeastern Medieval Association Conference, November 14 - 16, 2019.
